Does the engine crank over when the starter is engaged or just not starter engagement. If the engine cranks over you will need to check for spark at the spark plug and fuel at the fuel injector. If the engine does not crank over you will need to check battery voltage, check that battery connections are clean tight and secure then check for power at the small wire at the starter from the ignition switch when the ignition switch is in the starter position. It is also a possibility of engine mechanical problem seeing as the engine just switched off while driving. It could be many things, unfortunately and without experiencing the problem first hand or being able to do some basic diagnostic tests its hard to say.

That code refers to the idle air control valve. This problem will need experienced technician to diagnose. I can say, it may be the valve or wiring to the valve.
