How old is your battery? If it is 3-5 years old, it may be getting weak and not holding a charge. You can take the car to a shop and have them test your battery using their tester. Many auto parts stores will also test your battery for free but call around to make sure. Many testers will actually test your entire charging system (which would be a good idea). If that all checks ok, there might be a parasitic current drain on the battery when the key is off ("ignition off draw"). That would require some diagnosis but have the battery tested first. hope this helps!

You asked "What does DD off mean?" Could it be "OD" I believe the letters are in yellow (maybe red) it means the automatic transmission Overdrive Switch has been turned off. Leaving the transmission in Overdrive will make the engine work a little less hard and save gas.
