Can’t lock the car out without having the fob in your hand

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. It sounds like there is a sensor on one of your doors that is not working properly, showing that a door is open when it's actually closed. This will lead to the problem of not being able to lock the car properly, as well as the door open light staying on. What needs to happen is testing to determine which door is showing open when it's closed. A diagnostic tool is necessary to find out what is happening with a skilled technician operating it. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
