Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! A sunroof seal separating from the glass on your Rogue can certainly cause leaks, and it sounds like the gasket is due for a replacement. Whether this is covered under your MaxCare warranty depends on the fine print. MaxCare typically covers mechanical and electrical components, so cosmetic items like seals might be excluded. However, if the seal failure leads to water damage affecting electrical components, there could be a case for coverage. It’s best to contact MaxCare directly to confirm.
