Engine intake air hosing

What is your question?

Recently had to replace the intake hosing the rpm needle starts off at 3 instead of 0 suv drives but kinda sounds and feels like the4 wheel drive is on I’m not sure what could be wrong other than maybe the filter might be dirty idk if that makes sense

What makes this problem better or worse?

Not sure first time owing one
