Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! If your Rogue cranks but won’t start, it’s either missing fuel, spark, or air. Since it briefly tried to start, fuel delivery might be the culprit. A failing **fuel pump**, clogged **fuel filter**, or faulty **fuel pressure regulator** could prevent proper pressure. Listen for the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to “On.” Other suspects? A weak **crankshaft position sensor** or ignition coil could disrupt spark. If it sat in damp conditions, moisture in the intake or electrical connections might also interfere. Grab a scan tool to check for any stored codes—they might point to the issue. If you don’t have one, try spraying a small amount of starting fluid into the intake. If it fires briefly, you’ve confirmed a fuel problem.
