What is your question?
I have a 2015 Nissan Rogue and on two occasions the AC failed in warm humid days driving at highway speeds. If the system was shut down for 10 min then turned back on I got AC back. Last time I lost it I was close to home and pulled into my garage and went back out to find a very large volume of water on the floor indicating to me that the system froze up and had defrosted in my garage. Frist time Nissan dealer replaced "cabin intake sensor". Still happened second time one year later. Appears to me that something is causing the evaporator to fail and freeze. Nissan USA has nothing to offer and dealer couldn't duplicate the condition so offered no solutions. What seems to make the problem better or worse? Hot humid days How long have you had this problem? 2 years

Typically, the evaporator freezing is due to the air conditioning system not knowing when to stop creating cold refrigerant gas. The compressor keeps operating at full power, and the evaporator will ice up. A cycle switch or similar switch device that monitors system pressures and temperatures will act to stop the compressor coil from powering the compressor when the system is at the optimum temperature. If the switch does not do its job, then icing can occur as it has for you. Get it back to your dealer to re-evaluate and hopefully take care of for you.
