What is your question?
I was noticing a delay in acceleration at stops and then within an hour my car was dragging along about 10 mph. I stopped to check transmission fluid and when I realized I couldn't then I decided to creep along and go home and there was no problem. It acted like my transmission was slipping but it hasn't acted up again. My concern is that I need to know why it happened to prevent getting stranded! I realized my cruise was on, is there a chance that it got 'stuck'? Is there a recall on the cruise control components bc of dragging the transmission performance down?
What makes this problem better or worse?

No, cruise control is not figuring in here at all. You'll need to have some testing performed to see what is happening here. There may or may not be stored diagnostic trouble codes that can show what has happened - which could be clues to research to find out what the fault is. If there are no codes, then testing while the problem occurs will be needed. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
