Battery is only 2 months old. Tried jump starting and would not engage. Lights, radio, gages working.
What makes this problem better or worse?
first time. started fine earlier today

If the "clicks" are coming from the starter solenoid, I'd suspect a bad starter motor. You can take a block of wood or dowel and hit the starter while someone is turning the key in an emergency to see if you can get the starter to engage. You can also remove the starter and take it to AutoZone or Advance Auto and they can test it for you.
