door locks cycle randomly, sliding door opens/closes on its own

2011 Quest sliding doors (right passenger door) opens and almost closes then opens again. After "fixing" problem and 3 weeks later problem starts again for the 3rd time Nissan now says the electrical harness is corroded/rusty and needs to be replaced. Not covered under warranty. We are arguing about it being covered as it has yet to be fixed and there was nothing I did that caused it to happen. FYI.
