What is your question?
I have a nissan Quest 2000 and it has 163,000 miles on it. I have " check engine light" since last July. I have a mechanic with a computer, and he says that the computer shows that the car has a missfire and knock sensor problem. Lately, the car feel heavy when I drive it and when I am on the highway and I just ease my foot of the gas pedal, I feel that the speed is greatly reduced as if the car is backing up. Lastly, I realized that I have to press the gas pedal harder in order to speed up the car. Please let me know why does the car do that?

thats a long time to drive with a missfire. the additional unburnt fuel ahs more than likely destroyed the cat converter causing it to melt inside thus giving you reduced power. the knock sensor code you can ignore. nissan had an issue with this code piggy backing any other code with no failure. Roy
