drove home from work no problems went out later to take kids to lake an it wont start all electrical comes on but it wont even try to start cant here nothing but the fuel pump activating

I suspect that the starter is failing. Check that you have battery voltage at the big starter cable, and battery voltage at the smaller START wire at the starter when your assistant turns the key to START.
