Hello, why did you have it in second gear in the first place? Check the transmission fluid. If it is clean and full, there's nothing else you can do. Have the vehicle evaluated by a local shop near you. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
My boyfriend's is the one that showed me to put it in second gear sometimes he does that while we're going up the hill to Ocean shores but know he's mad at me because the noises he's van is making when he put it in drives and moves it forward and I was just trying to get some advice cuz I feel really bad did I mess up the transmission but it might have a engine mount problem
You didn't mess anything up. You're supposed to be able to shift as needed, and the vehicle should operate as desired. The problem is - there's an internal transmission concern. There may be an engine mount problem, yes, but that doesn't relate to the internal transmission problem You can't have caused it, to be sure.
