Passenger was opened while the rest of the truck was locked. Now the ignition key will not turn.

Hello, I cannot determine any correlation between the passenger door being opened and anything to do with the ignition lock cylinder. The only thing that prevents an ignition key from turning in the ignition key cylinder would be a shift lever for the automatic transmission that is not properly seated in the park position, a key that is worn out, or an ignition lock cylinder which has worn tumblers internally. Additionally, the steering wheel lock may be tightly locked against it's mechanism preventing easy turning of the key. Try a second key to see if it works better, try shaking the steering wheel while turning the key to see if the lock is engaged tightly. Other than that further testing is required.
