Will IAC cause my vehicle to not start?

What is your question?

If the IAC stays shut will the motor not start?.. But I had a MaF code changed maf. Then IAC code came on. Vehicle will not start any ideas???

The IAC would prevent it from idling correctly. Can the vehicle start when you depress the gas pedal thus opening your throttle?

No it doesn't attempt to start when depressing pedal?
