My pathfinder is leaking antifreeze and I was told the 2nd cylinder in the engin

What is your question?

2nd cylinder in the engine is bad and motor needs to be replaced. does this make sense?

There is a possibility, but first need to scan the system and see if you have some kind of misfire code (maybe like P0302). Also check for compression on that particular cylinder.
