What is your question?
I received this code and they told me it is the canister purge valve. Where is that located? Is it easy to replace and does anyone know the part number? Thanks

flow control is under the hood and purge is on the cannister. dealer item only. call a dealer parts for price/availability and they should have a diagram as well. Roy
The one your gonna want to replace is under the hood and is a dealer item $221. I replaced my valve on the canister then it still did not solve the issue it ended up being the one under the hood
If you have to fix the one under the hood I have an easy fix. I took apart the purge valve in the engine compartment and shook out all of the little pieces of charcoal in there. No wonder it wasn't working. It was full of charcoal! Even though it isn't meant to be taken apart, you can still do it. You just have to bend the metal tabs very carefully so that they don't break off. Make sure you clean it out well. I then bought a cheap (and clear) fuel filter and installed that inline right before the purge valve. This way, the filter will catch all of the pieces before they get stuck in the valve. (You might have to massage the hoses a bit to dislodge all the crap) After driving the car for a few hours, the fuel filter filled up completely with charcoal and my CEL turned off. Voila. Let me know if it worked for you! Good luck.
Is this the same as the Canister Purge Valve? Is that what needs replacing?
