95 pathfinder starts to turn over then stops, cranking but wont fully turn over

6 cyc, fuel pump is squirting gas through the fuel filter. Plug wires have been changed, plugs look good (not very old). Cranking very good, but will not turn over. Checked the distributor cleaned contacts, looks good. I have tried starting fluid, pumping the hell out of it, starting it without pumping. Jumper box does get better results. Tightened battery terminals, cleaned. Sometimes when it acts like its going to turn over it abruptly stops.It set for about 6 mo, put fuel cleaner in the gas to remove moisture, injector cleaner and high octane gas, Barryman B-12. Please, any help.
