battery losing charge

Did you test the alternator that charges the battery while running it should read around 14 volts.if you have no tester you can disconnect the positive red cable while it is running and if the motor dies it is probably your alternator!Hope this helps

I had this same problem with my 94 pathfinder. Multiple new batteries always losing charge though the alternator was replaced as well and running fine. What was happening was that the whole wire harness was corroded under the coating, which was draining the battery. Once we replaced the entire wire harness, no more problems with the battery holding charge
