After starting vehicle and turning on air conditioner,it runs well, turn off vehicle then it won't start

Short trip to Walmart with air-conditioning on, after turning off and shopping I went to start the vehicle and it does nothing. Lights on.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Just a short trip
