What is your question?
Hello, I have a 2019 nissan murano platinum that the abs, traction control and 2 collision lights turned on the dash. When i connect a scanner it mentioned a code for yaw rate sensor and G sensor. They do not sell a yaw rate sensor for this car when i took it to an auto electrician they told me i need to buy a new or used airbag module and reprogram it because the sensor is in the module. This car was in a previous accident and im assuming they just reset the module but i didnt have this issue for months. All the lights turned on at the same time.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Abs and traction light turn on right when the car turns on and the collision takes about a minute and the car beeps and it turns on
How long has your 2019 Nissan Murano had this problem?
5 months

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. With the ABS, traction control, and collision lights turning on and the scanner showing a yaw rate and G sensor issue, it's possible that the previous accident may have caused some underlying problems with your Murano that are only now showing up. The yaw rate sensor is often integrated into the airbag module, which explains why the auto electrician suggested replacing it. Internal damage to the module is very common after an accident, especially if an airbag is deployed. Replacement and programming of the airbag module could resolve the issue.
