nissan send me an e mail stating that my maps needed to be updated i got the updates and now nothing works bought a new sd card of maps and that did not do the good either

Contact your local dealership or the supplier of the SD card for troubleshooting support. No amount of suggestion here would be better than doing that. I would think they would be able to assist without any kind of cost, based on the scenario.
