What is your question?
I am getting random overheating problems, it could happen just after starting, or not happen for several hundred miles. Might over heat for a few minutes or stay hot for an hour. Will go from normal operating temp to the top of the “normal” range but not all the way maxed to “H”. Replaced thermostat, ECT, water pump, most of the hosing. Have done multiple flushes of entire system. When it runs hot I do see radiator fans running and overflow tank is full and bubbling. When system is cold, coolant and oil levels are within normal ranges.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Given your Murano's inconsistent overheating issues and the extensive work you've already done, it sounds like you've covered a lot of ground. Since you've replaced the thermostat, water pump, and hoses, and done several flushes, let's explore a few remaining suspects. The bubbling in the overflow tank and random overheating could point to a potential head gasket issue. A blown head gasket might not always show obvious signs but can cause intermittent overheating and bubbling in the overflow tank. Another possibility is an air pocket in the cooling system that might not have been fully purged, despite multiple flushes. Additionally, check if the radiator is clogged or if there's any blockage in the cooling passages that might not be obvious. Since the issue is sporadic, a professional might need to conduct a more thorough diagnostic, including a pressure test, to pinpoint the exact cause.
