What is your question?
My 2007 Nissan Murano had a bad alternator which I had done. I started hearing a continuous beeping and then it would go to a fast loud beep and not stop till it killed the battery. I had the 2 cam shaft position sensor changed out for other reasons and and while trying to figure out the what I assumed was the security system beeping.. the key light came on. I changed my key fob battery but it is now a crank no start. I pulled the intelligent key fuse and the beeping stopped but still crank no start. I am single and out in the country with no one to help.
How long has your 2007 Nissan Murano had this problem?
A week

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like your Murano’s security system is throwing a tantrum. Since you’ve got the **key light on and a crank-no-start**, the immobilizer may not be recognizing your key. Try this: 1. **Lock and unlock the doors manually** with the key (not the fob) to see if it resets. 2. **Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to "ON" (without starting)** for about 5 minutes, then turn it off and try again. 3. **Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes**, then reconnect and try starting it. If none of that works, the system may need to be reprogrammed by a shop with Nissan’s scan tool. Hopefully, it’s just a glitch and not a failing immobilizer module.
