Hello, after shutting the vehicle off and restarting, is it still not working? Something was noted electronically - whether an internal mechanical concern, or an electronic concern that needs to be sorted out. Whatever happened prevents transmission engagement. Diagnostic testing will reveal the cause of the check engine light initially -- which will give clues as to what is going on with the transmission function. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
