Just purchased 2017 certified preowned maxima and just noticed that it has 3 different style tires should this have passed the certification

Hello, I do not know the exact rules of the Nissan program, but i do know with about 5 other manufacturers that I have worked with that for a "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle, all tires much match in size, brand and model. They also must have the proper speed and load rating for the vehicle, matching or exceeding the information on the Tire Placard that is on the driver's door jam area. Basically, all 4 tires must be identical, and usually above 5/32" of a tread and be proper for the vehicle. Nissan may differ (although I doubt it), and state laws may differ too -- as they sometimes regulate Certified Pre-Owned programs. My advice would be to contact your Nissan dealer -- or even a different Nissan dealership -- to get the local, Nissan specific answer. But it sounds like you are correct in your concern.
