It smoked I was on high way pulled off and parked it. Now it goes down to normal but is making noise. I think because hose is disconnected. Waiting to go to mechanic. Do you think that is why it made noise. Because the hose was off .
Will it start and run? Did it over heat to the point that it shut off on its' own , or did you turn it off? What KIND of noise ? Metal rattling? Knocking?

Yes it will start and run . I turned it off.. It was like a clunking sort of rattle.
