Speedometer not working even with replacement sensor. What now?

I replaced my sensor on my transmission thinking it would fix my speedometer issue but no good. I just test drove my car qith my old sensor replaced with a new one but it didn't work. What do I do?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Having to use my phone as a speedometer but I don’t always get connection on my exact speed
