Replaced pads and calipers.but still no brake when car started.but before car started can get brake pedal.think has something to do with abs system

Provided the brake parts installation has been done correctly (?) .. Purge the remainder of air from the system and brake pedal travel will return to normal .. Even with the engine running! Even 'IF' one is very familiar with brake system repair .. SEVERAL attempts is usually necessary to bleed 'ALL' air from the brake system .. Sometimes it takes over a quart of brake fluid to do so .... It's not the ABS!
IF this problem arose 'before' any brake work was done - it is possible the master cylinder is failing.
