Overheating

What is your question?

I have a 98 maxima. Will idle at normal temp but over heats if I drive it. For example, i can press the gas pedal at idle and it stays at normal temperature but while driving it the temp gauge goes hot but when I let off the gas and put car in neutral it goes back to normal temp. Any ideas? Thanks
