97 Maximum won't start

What is your question?

. won't start , starter works . fuel pump OK, can hear the pump working upon ignition key turns . remove spark plug and no fire upon cranking . can't location ignition coil or distributor

What makes this problem better or worse?

it just happened suddenly and no hints of starting at all
