What is your question?
It begins to stall about two-thirds of the way up Parleys Canyon and then going down the other side is fine for about 10 miles and then it starts to stall out again and will not accelerate at all except for downhill and then occasionally it'll all the sudden go again with a jolt but only when I'm going really slow like 5 10 miles an hour it just started doing this periodically for the past couple months it also makes a high-pitched whining noise whenever it's acting up like that What seems to make the problem better or worse? only does it when driving up Parleys Canyon How long have you had this problem? A couple of months

Hello, I'm not familiar with that location, but the symptom is definitely related to an engine performance issue. Stalling occurs when there is a loss of fuel, spark or air to the engine, and can even stall if there is an exhaust restriction that "chokes" the engine. Too many possibilities to guess, but a proper diagnostic test performed by a qualified technician with the right equipment should be able to give you the answers you seek. Good luck.
My girlfriend and I have the same car, 2011 nissan juke but mine is a SL AWD while hers is a S AWD. Hers does this OFTEN. Has been in the shop 4 times now and currently is, it also stalls out when shifting into drive and will throw every code on the dash up. When they read the code they tell us the car got confused, what does that even mean?
