Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Granny - i'm not sure what you mean. A clutch concern could be a hydraulic system issue - or it could be that the clutch is just worn out. Either way, you'll need a shop near you to weigh in. Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Thanks for reaching out, so sorry to hear you are having car issues. A clutch pedal that goes all the way to the floor sounds like a hydraulic issue and could be a failed or leaking clutch cylinder or it could be a worn clutch. What the culprit is would determine how difficult of repair this is. If it is the clutch itself, it would require removing the transmission, which is challenging to do without a lift and proper equipment. Being that it is a safety issue, I’d strongly recommend having a professional check it out to diagnose it properly. At that pint you can decide if it is a repair that you want to tackle yourself or not.
