What is your question?
My ac stops blowing cold air. Air keeps coming out with the same force it’s just not cold. This may last a few minutes or longer and then it starts blowing cold air again. I have noticed that when it’s not working and I park at my destination it seems to work when I leave again. I don’t usually drive long distances and sometimes it works fine on a 20-30 minute trip and other times it starts malfunctioning after a few moments. I took the vehicle in to my regular shop and they serviced it. It worked fine for a couple of days and then started exhibiting the same symptoms. I took it back and they can find nothing wrong (no leaks etc.)
What makes this problem better or worse?
It appears that after stopping and turning off the vehicle and walking away, it seems to work fine upon restarting.
How long has your 2014 Nissan Frontier had this problem?
More than a month

First of all, is there air flow through the condenser consistently? Does the condenser fan turn on when needed? Is there enough refrigerant in the system? If there is not, is there a leak somewhere? Is there a concern with the electrical cycle switch? The oompressor, clutch and coil? There are many Possible causes. A skilled and experienced technician who knows how to handle refrigerants and is legally licensed to do so is in a great place to be able to help you with your concern.
