It will happen then clear up and idle smooth for few minutes then do it again it only lasts for maybe 5-10 seconds
What makes this problem better or worse?
Doesn't matter if engine is hot or cold

This can be a few things. Ignition issues like an intermittent bad coil, a faulty injector, a fuel pump going out. A good scan tool will give you a start on pinpointing which cylinder is misfiring.
