How many others are having a Clock Spring issue , airbag light on

My horn stopped working and I'm being told that it is my clock spring. The airbag light is not flashing yet and has not come on. But, the volume on my steering wheel will not work to make it louder but will to decrease the volume. Been told clock springs on these frontiers go all the time. Think there should be a recall on them.
