Why does my clutch release when it's barely off the floor?*

Feels like I have no clutch when I push it to floor/hard to downshift from 2nd to 1st/when I take off my clutch pedal has barely moved off floor/clutch fluid is nearly black/no fluid leaking/just bought the truck over a month ago clutch didn't feel write then /it's gradually gotten worse /need help/fast/please?

What makes this problem better or worse?
