Slacken the top pivot bolt of the alternator (probably 14mm head bolt) then slacken the bolt that goes through the adjusting bracket to the bottom of the alternator (12mm head?), then at 90 degrees to that bolt tightening or loosening that bolt tensions the belt when correct tension is achieved you re-tighten all the bolts you initially slackened. There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You can get a one week subscription or year subscription very cheap.
