What is your question?
My back door doesn't open. The locking mechanism is frozen and will not unlock. I took the cover off the back door to inspect the issue. After climbing into the cargo space, contorting myself into a pretzel, I was able to blindly get the flat blade of a large screwdriver into the jaws of the lock which released it so I could open the door. But once I closed it, it locked again and will have to repeat the pretzel procedure to open it again. Mind you I'm almost 6' tall, there's a bit of humor for you. Anyone who has experienced this issue and were able to repair it without taking it into the shop, please let me know how you did it. Thank you, Pretzeled in Orange, California

Hello, sounds like a probable issue with the actuator for the lock - but testing will be needed at the actuator to see if it has power or not. Sorry for your experience, but testing is needed to know what's going on. Does it need a new actuator? Or is there a power issue?
