What is your question?
I bypassed the steering wheel lock and it started a few times. Then wouldn’t start again. thinking that the computer didn’t like my bypass I got a new wheel lock unit. But the same thing. I disconnected the battery to reset it but nothing. I can’t find the fuse for the steering lock. I checked all the fuses I could find. I also checked the switch on the brake pedal. Continuity was ok.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Won’t start all the time

A "Bypass" is really not a solution. It can also cause more problems than it solves. I appreciate resourcefulness and the attempt to get by, but the reality is that the original problem needs troubleshooting and repair performed. There's a good chance that there may be key programming required with the components your replaced -- but that's a total guess. You'll need professional guidance either way. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
