What is your question?
Just got into a rear end collision, had no issues before this. Vehicle will only start from FOB. Will go into gear but if you put the vehicle back in park it locks and it won’t come out of park. Like it’s maybe the FOB causing this. I changed the battery in the FOB and even disconnected both battery terminals but no fix. The BCI warning has come on as well but vehicle still runs and drives normally. Please help. Thanks in advance
What makes this problem better or worse?
Only started after I was rear ended
How long has your 2019 Nissan Armada had this problem?

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. First and foremost, I hope everyone is okay after the accident! It sounds like the issue may be related to the accident, the only way to know for sure would be to have it diagnosed. I don't think it's likely that the key fob is causing the issue, it seems more likely that the issue could be due to errant signals from the receivers, more so if the accident damaged some of the wiring related to the system. You may have some recourse through your auto insurance if you previously filed a claim, I would recommend reaching out to them to see if they'd be able to assist. I am having the same issue as above however I have not had an accident.
