2015 nissan Armada rear hatch door won't open correctly

noticed a few days ago the hatch acted like it was bouncing when closing, as of today, wont open-close with key, if car is turned over for engine, will open by button up front of car. I can open by hand on the hatch, but wont stay open and will slam down on top of you. I have checked the area
to make sure all clear by jack and the motor is working. The arm on the left side looks okay, not really lose, a little wiggly....any suggestions
