My driver side and passenger front power window stopped working at the same time. However every once in a while it will work out of the blue, ie not going up or down and then suddenly a month later a friend of mine rolled the window down but not able to get it back up. The switch at drivers side will operate the two back windows but the door lock switch does not work anymore either. I took it to a mechanic who had a used switch and switched them out with the same results. I am trying to diagnose this myself to save money. I have been reading diagnoses manuals online (PWC, GI etc.).
What makes this problem better or worse?
