Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Well, that's a stubborn leak, isn't it? Replacing a CV axle seal multiple times only for it to keep weeping fluid is like trying to stop a dripping faucet by just wishing it away – super frustrating! Given that this all started after an accident on that side, the seal itself might be the victim here, not the culprit. When you have a persistent leak like this after impact damage, even with new seals, you need to look at what the seal is trying to seal *against*. The bore in the transmission or transaxle where the seal sits could have been slightly distorted or nicked in the accident, meaning a new seal can't make a perfect fit. Similarly, the sealing surface on the CV axle itself needs to be perfectly smooth and round. If the replacement axle had a slight imperfection there, or if there's any wobble from a bent output shaft inside the transmission due to the impact, that new seal is going to have a very tough time doing its job. It's time for a super close inspection of those mating surfaces and to check for any play or runout on the axle/output shaft. This might be a job for a shop that can really dig into post-accident damage, as it's beyond just a simple seal replacement now.
