You might be on the wrong path, trying to "charge" the system when it may not need a charge at all. But now that you've messed with that, you'll need to have the refrigerant system checked to see if there are any issues there and that it is properly charged.
Once you know that, you'll want to check the climate control system inside the vehicle to determine if the system is directing the proper air flow - mode door function - getting the proper air to the proper vent location, and then also temperature blend door to make sure you get the mix of hot to cold that you're seeking. Some vehicles have dual zone climate controls which can vary passenger side and driver side temperatures to the liking of passengers. If this is the case, make sure both sides are put to the desired temperature, and then the system checked accordingly.
