Hello, although your efforts are good guesses perhaps, I would not recommend replacing any parts (the filter is always OK to change) until a test is performed too see what may be causing the stuttering on acceleration. Sure, you could have an air intake concern, but you could also have some other air / fuel mixture concern, an ignition spark concern or even fuel system concern.
