What is your question?
I have a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5L federal emissions without Hybrid. I need to replace my engine and within close proximity to where I live I have found numerous motors at a relatively decent price but they're all most California emissions. Since I don't have to pass a smog test and I don't really have a concern for California emissions what I need to know is: can I swap out my current motor for one that came from a California emissions Altima?
How long has your 2010 Nissan Altima had this problem?

Hello, the biggest challenge is that if you are changing the engine and using a California Emissions version engine, you may need to replace other related components including the engine's processor to accommodate the specific needs of that engine. If it's the only engine available, I suppose you try and then deal with the results - be prepared.
