I was told to replace engine computer If I buy used one it is needs to be reprogram ? I have smart keys it is need reprogram to?

Is your car still not under Warranty? The dealer should do this replacement for free. Newer cars need to have the computers reprogrammed. Call Fuel Injection Corporation in Livermore Ca they are very helpful and may be able to test or repair your computer. Just like Patrick said, your car's ECM should be under warranty. It is covered by a Federal Emission Warranty for 8 years / 80,000 miles - so even if your car is out of the regular bumper to bumper warranty- it still should be covered. Check your warranty booklet for the specific info. Zee

thanks for response problem is my car after accident and engine computer also damaged there is no warranty in this case its cheaper for to buy computer from car-parts but I don't know if i have to reprogram it ?
