What is your question?
I called a local mechanic shop recently when my 2009 Nissan Altima started having problems when (1) on an incline, (2) going speeds greater than 60mph, or (3) being driven in extreme heat in the middle of the day (live in Az). "George" asked me the usual questions: year/model/make & symptoms, then told me I could bring it in for a diagnostic right away ($75). I was in the shop fifteen minutes later. They took it for a test drive and, about an hour and half later, called me to the counter. George told me that "your" (my) car has a CVT transmission and we don't work on those. He then gave me a bill for $75.00. There were many people in the shop so I chose to pay it and fight it later, but I feel completely scammed. He knew it was a CVT before I got to the shop. I feel I am entitled to a refund as he didn't "diagnose" anything. I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you for your time and professional guidance. Clara Clark
