My car stalls while driving it's done this several times while on the interstate and this is very dangerous I had my daughter in the car with me. Can someone help me and let me know what causes this to happend

Cars stalls dosent give any warning signs when it stalls it will not start back up have to get a boost no lights are on no engine light nothing but once it starts stalling that's when my slip light comes on my trans light come on etc
